What ages are included in our program?

Our program is designed for children ages 6 weeks through 5th grade. The following is offered:

Infant Care (starting at 6 weeks)

Toddler Care

Preschool Classes

Pre-Kindergarten Classes

Before and After School (Hayshire, Roundtown, and Sinking Springs)

Summer Camp (Kindergraten-5th Grade)

What are our hours of operation?

Stillmeadow Nazarene Child Care Center is open Monday through Friday from 6:30 am to 5:30 pm. 

What does the daily schedule include?

The teachers create a daily schedule with activities to meet each child’s developmental abilities and needs. The daily schedule provides a balance between active and quiet times, group and individual activities, small and large muscle activities, indoor and outdoor play times, and times for self-selection and teacher-directed activities.  The center provides constructive experiences for each child through planned activities, creative play, Biblical instruction, music, literature, art, age-appropriate cognitive experiences, physical education, and social-emotional guidance. 

Does Stillmeadow provide meals and snacks?

Breakfast, lunch, and a morning and afternoon snack are provided, following the United States Department of Agriculture’s nutritional guidelines. The menu is posted on our website. The center also provides baby cereal and baby food for those children in our infant program.

What do families provide?

Infants: Formula or breast milk, diapers, wipes, pacifier, multiple changes of clothes, diaper cream

Toddlers: Diapers, wipes, 2 sets of clothes, nap roll, small pillow, sleep toy, water bottle (lid that covers mouth part)

Preschool/Pre-K: 2 sets of clothes, nap roll, sleep toy, water bottle (lid that covers mouth part)

How do we enroll our child?

Stillmeadow Child Care Center has a waiting list for all age groups. Please fill out the waiting list application on our website and return it, along with the $40 registration fee, to Stillmeadow. When an opening becomes available for your child, we will contact you. If you would like to schedule a tour of the center, please call and we will be happy to schedule a visit.
